Meet The Person Behind The Canvas
Becky Doyon is an artist from Winslow, Maine who creates horror-related and other types of art using both traditional and digital mediums. Most of her free design time is spent drawing, painting, or working in Photoshop with her latest horror-related idea.
Becky draws inspiration from horror movies, books, talented artists, and dark things. She has a bachelor's degree in graphic design and her work titled "Leftovers" has been exhibited at the Louvre in Paris, France.
Becky has been designing for nearly two decades, starting out drawing cartoon characters. She then moved on to pencil portraits. Being mostly self-taught, Becky learned how to improve on things she learned in school.
She's also had work exhibited in New York (eight times), Zurich, and Miami. Becky's various artworks have been featured in music videos and on various websites. She's won or been nominated for several awards and has been published in Blood Moon Rising and Clowngirl Horror magazines.
Her influences include Rob Zombie, Terrance Zdunich, Gerard Way, Basil Gogos, Odilon Redon, Richard Bosman, Edward Gorey, Tim Burton, and HR Giger.
